Fixing The Toaster!
The toaster wasn’t toasting properly. I had already fixed some things, but this sounded very hard; I wondered how I could do it. Daddy thought there was a problem with the heating element, and so he orderd a new one. I took the toaster apart, and found lots of screws to undo, but the bolts were facing outside, so Daddy asked me to get his bike repair kit. I got it, and found, to my disappointment, that none of them fitted. So we had to get the adjustable spanner, and use that.

I discovered that the heating element did need replacing; so I took the old one out. When I had done that, I noticed that the old heating element was broken; that was why it didn’t work properly.

I screwed it all up again, and then came the big moment; would it work?
IT DID!
There was a part that should glow if it worked and the part glowed.
I was very excited to fix another thing and this time something we use every day.
